My Promise to You: Choosing the best home inspector can be a confusing and hard decision. But I promise that I will treat your potential new home as if I was going to buy it (I am on my 5th) and give you the very best. I want you to have excellent peace of mind with your new purchase. This I promise to you.
My promise to you: If you will trust me to represent your best interest, I will be diligent and take pride in producing a very thorough inspection.
My promise to you: Upon delivery of my inspection report to you, I will thoroughly explain my findings, and give you contact information should you have a question later. I will also upload the report and provide an access link to anyone you choose. I have given all of my customers the ability to pay by credit card for their convenience. If you find the need to cancel or re-schedule an appointment, I do require 24 hours notice. If I have not been notified of the cancellation, and payment by credit card has been made, you will be refunded 1/2 the price of the inspection by crediting it back to your account. If it has not yet been paid, you will be charged 1/2 the price of the inspection. Refunds are in accordance with the inspection agreement, which you can view by clicking on the Inspection Contract menu tab.

Welcome!!!
I am Walter Fish Owner of Bay Area Home Inspection, LLC. I have been inspecting homes since 1998 and have been licensed in Wisconsin since 1999 #739-106 (Michigan does not require licensing and has no competency standards). I am extremely thorough and represent my customer with the highest integrity. I realize that a home or building purchase can be a huge investment. It is extremely important that a thorough home inspection be performed to protect your investment. Home Inspectors are not alike even though we should practice under the same standards. Choosing a home inspector is a very important decision that should be made by yourself or from the recommendation of a trusted friend. Again, since there are no competency standards in the state of Michigan, hiring an inspector with specific training in home inspection and some years of experience specifically as a "home inspector" is an important distinction. Also, finding an inspector who is dedicated full-time to his craft will ensure he has the experience to provide a detailed report. If you want the best inspector in this area, I am the one. I deliver a computerized report complete with digital pictures and the ability to present you easy to understand comments about the condition of the home. After reviewing my inspection you will feel confident you made the correct choice by calling me. Please call us today or click on my calendar/scheduler and book online now. You can even pay with your Visa or MasterCard for your convenience. See you at the inspection!
